DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: Remote position
Visa Copy Required
· Architect, build and maintain a scalable multi-stage CI/CD system.
· Support and improve tools for continuous integration, automated testing, automation and release management making the entirety of software engineering as efficient and effective as possible. Patching/upgrading/monitoring the CI/CD tools.
· Develop automation code to deploy and maintain systems and applications that run and monitor services in the AWS.
· Define and implement appropriate automation of operational activities.
· Improve the replicability of build and test runs using central OS configuration management, virtualization and containerization (e.g. Docker)
· Contribute to building a strong team of Build Infrastructure Engineers/ Continuous Integration Engineers
· Unify development pipeline, build process, testing and deployment strategies across diverse teams.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 7+ years of industry experience .
· Strong programming and scripting knowledge, e.g. Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash
· Familiarity with software configuration management systems and source code version control systems
· Comprehensive experience with AWS including a solid understanding of CI/CD, Amazon S3, EC2, IAM, CloudFormation and Route 53
· Strong understanding of test processes and test strategies including the generation of meaningful test metrics
· Strong communication skills to gather requirements from the development teams and to train the teams in the workflow and processes.
· Good technical understanding of large-scale server and cloud infrastructures
Advantageous:
· Demonstrated track record of designing and deploying systems that work reliably
· Experience developing CI/CD systems and test automation for enterprise applications in consumer product domain.

· Codebase - Bitbucket, Atlassian Stash
· Build- Maven, Gradle
· Testing - Jmeter, SE, Postman
· Security - Sonar Qube, Consul, Vault, Vera Code
· Deploy/Operate - Docker., Helm, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
· Monitor - Grafana, ELK Stack, New relic, Prometheus
· Integration -Jenkins
· AWS Services- Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Elasti cache, Elastic Search, data pipeline, Step functions, Kinesis, Dynamodb, EKS, VPC, Load Balancers,
· DB: Cassandra, MS SQL
Education Requirements:
· BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science or other related fields
· MS preferred.
