Role: Frontend Engineer Basic Qualifications:5+ years agile software development experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)3+ years of experience with modern web application technologies (TypeScript, ES6, React/Angular/VueJS)Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)Excellent developing, promoting, and building consensus across engineering teamsDirect experience using iterative or Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM); Experience with JiraAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your own time  Good understanding of web application design principles such as usability/accessibility, performance, responsive web design, and securityAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releasesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with C#Experience building design and UI component libraries and using tools like StorybookGood with CSS-in-JS (Emotion/Styled Components)Good with web accessibility standards and practices Experience in implementing accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)Good working with UX designer specifications and design tokens (Figma)ResponsibilitiesMaintain high coding standards with the ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, secure and documented codeBuild TypeScript and JavaScript client code using modern web frameworks and technologies (React + Redux, CSS-in-JS)Work with UX and Design to standardize and simplify UI development practicesBuild modular/reusable UI components from design mock-ups (Figma)Build and maintain a modern Jamstack front-end web application infrastructure (Next.js, Netlify)Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to releaseSupport strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areasEnsure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects, and participate in technical design and code reviewsDefine, scope, prioritize, and estimate workWork across organizational boundaries with designers and program managersMentor, coach, and level up junior developersWork closely with QA to identify test cases and create efficient, scalable testing processesWork cooperatively with product management and design to create features that are scalable and secure.
