Change Management Analyst - Serena PVCS version manager

6+ months

Location: New York, NYC

 

Solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles,
with particular emphasis on scheduling and coordination functions
-Solid understanding of industry change management processes framework
-Solid understanding of IT process management, process definition and improvement
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work overtime in support of changes
-A four-year degree in computer science or related field
-3+ years in production support or change management role
-Experience managing multiple environments and code streams
-Proficient in the implementation of production change management techniques and service delivery disciplines
-Experience in configuration management tools and processes

Technical skills:

-Strong skills in Unix operating environment
-Strong skills in Windows operating environment
-Excellent Unix/Perl ( including Ant ) scripting
-Strong knowledge of Serena PVCS version manager including pcli ( PVCS command line interface )
-Strong knowledge of IBM Rational ClearQuest
-Strong skills in Oracle and SQL Server
