DataStage Developer role in McGaw Park, IL

 

Location is in McGaw Park for an end of the year project but they do almost always go much longer

 

Role Needed / Job Description (Please provide sufficient detail as what this consultant is to produce from a work product or Service expectation from a response time if appropriate)

 

·      Design and Develops IBM DataStage v8.0 interfaces using DataStage Enterprise stages and DataStage Web Services

·      Design and Develop Windows Server based Web services talking to an external vendor’s web service API

·      Designs and develops the SQL code in support of defined requirements and specifications

·      Designs and develops the XML schemas/XSD definitions in support of defined requirements and specifications

·      Designs and develops the Java code  in support of defined requirements and specifications

·      Responsible for unit testing of code developed

·      Ensures all deliverables and milestones are met

·      Works closely with all team members to make sure they fully understand the requirements, deliverables and milestones

·      Provides frequent status updates to IT Lead/Project Manager

·      ·      Ensure knowledge transfer occurs during the project life-cycle

Responsible for the design and maintenance of all forms and documents required for Baxter applications (technical design documents, change control forms, scheduling forms).Specific Qualifications Required (specialized skills, degrees, certification, etc.)

 

7 or more years professional experience

5+ years of extensive DataStage, SQL Server 2005, XML/XSD technologies.

3+ years of J2EE experience, This should include deep DataStage development using IBM tools, additionally Oracle tools, scripts, database links, XML tools, and Rational Application Developer (RAD) for Java. IBM DataStage technologies will be heavily used with industry standard frameworks

Extensive  experience in AS400, Oracle a plus and other data transfer mechanisms
