Job Description:

Will develop and maintain customer facing web applications for the business on the enterprise Java platform. The individual will work as part of an agile team made up of a Project Manager, Developers, Technical Leads and Business Analysts to ensure the timely delivery of applications.

 

Responsibilities:

GUI design, application code development, XML schema development, generate/parse XML, execution of unit and acceptance testing, utilization of the automated test infrastructure for the project and identification of application code and services for reuse.

 

Qualifications:

The candidate must possess the following technical experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development utilizing Enterprise Java technologies.

·         A  MINIMUM of *5 YEARS US EXPERIENCE* offshore work will not be considered

• Experience with Web Services & demonstrated experience in specific technologies including EJB, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, SOAP, XML-RPC and XML.

• Experience working with WebLogic Application Server.

• In-depth knowledge of the Application Development Lifecycle.

• Solid knowledge of design patterns.

• At least four years of experience utilizing Oracle/SQL.

• Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques. Desired skills:

• Experience with Test First Development Methodology.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with Maven.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
