Job Description
Required Skill Sets:
Ø In depth experience on F5 load balancers, including an understanding of routing protocols BGP, OSPF, TCP, SSL, TLS, and application layer protocols including HTTP, SSH, SSL, and DNS.
Ø Must have an understanding of load balancing strategies/ techniques, expertise in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates.
Ø Needs to be able to complete basic configurations on the F5, including OS upgrades, and general troubleshooting of the devices.
Ø Advanced skills of designing, coding, and troubleshooting iRules and iControls.
Ø Strong scripting knowledge (PERL, etc.)
Additional Desired Skills: Networking experience:
Ø Experience in managing network appliances. (cisco, lotus, etc.,)
Ø Network segmentation. - Advanced routing
Ø Network traffic sniffing & analysis Any web server/application server administration experience (Apache, IIS, weblogic, websphere, etc.,).
Education and Experience :
Ø 7 years of BIG-IP F5 experience
Ø Networking experience
