J2EE Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 8/1/11 – 6/30/12 (11 months)
Rate:$50 per/hr on c2c/1099
IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!
· Develop enhancements for and provide support to J2EE application.
· Develop new business functions, including web services, using the principles, practices, and deliverables of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
· Troubleshoot, fix, and test issues/defects - resulting from either the change control process or production activities
Skills:
· Excellent core J2SE 6 programming ability
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience and Strong knowledge of the following tools/ technologies & frameworks: Eclipse, Java Server Faces, Facelets, Spring, Apache Trinidad
· Application/Portal server: Weblogic 10.x
· RDBMS: Oracle 10g
· Good knowledge of J2EE design patterns and web services
· Knowledge of Java community tools/frameworks/app. Servers preferred but not a requirement: Subversion, DBUnit, Junit, JBOSS
Experience:
· Three years of system development experience in Java technologies
· Experience with web service development will be a plus
Education
At a minimum, a Bachelor's degree with a major in the field of computer or information science
