We are looking for  Configuration Management Analyst for our Remedy CMDB. This position is located in Phoenix, AZ. This Individual will be the custodian and guardian of all CMDB related Configuration Items including their relationship data. They will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date and (Historical) records of Configuration Items.

 

Configuration Management Analyst / Remedy CMDB

Min experience : 10 yrs.

6 Months

Work Location : Phoenix, AZ

Start Date : ASAP

 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Remedy CMDB.

• Assist IT teams in training, utilization, and adherence to CI maintenance and dependency mappings.

• Monitor ITIL workflows to ensure appropriate maintenance of all CMDB components.

• Participate in Incident resolution, problem determination and root cause assessment of CMDB related issues directly related to data entries.

• Assist in conducting Configuration Audits to ensure accuracy and currency of the CMDB.

• Interact regularly with Operations, ESM teams and ITSM process owners.

• Control the receipt, identification, storage and withdrawal of all supported CI's in the CMDB

• The Configuration Librarian will also be responsible for producing configuration status accounting reports and issuing copies of products for review, change, correction or information when authorized to do so.

Qualifications:

o Minimum: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• A Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field and  9+ years of related experience.

• 2 years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Change & Configuration Management, with a specific concentration in Remedy CMDB 2.1 and Remedy AR Server 7.1.

• ITIL Foundations Certified v2 or v3

• 3 years of experience in a production data center.

• Demonstrated skills in data management, solving problems and able to work collaboratively within a team or independently.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

o Preferred: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• 3+ years experience supporting Remedy CMDB

• ITIL Foundation Certifications
