Title: Business Analyst

Location: WI

Duration: Long term contract

Rate: $40-45/hr on C2C

The candidate will be the lead Business Analyst with the responsibility with identifying and implementing process improvements in order improve tracking and managing of digital requests for BMO's US and Canadian Design and Development teams.

Responsibilities Include

• Working on multiple work streams in parallel.
• Lead the Design & Development (D&D) group's process improvement efforts
• Identify and document areas within the D&D group that require process improvement
• Train internal team members on the TFS intake tool and any process improvements
• Schedule and facilitate all meetings with the team concerning this initiative
• Manage and effectively communicate a Project Plan
• Track and manage all issues and/or enhancements pertaining to this initiative
• Schedule and facilitate any Pilot Testing programs
• Provide weekly Status Reports
• Create and present Presentations that support and/or highlight the initiative

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree
2-4 years professional work experience in related field

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent process mapping skills. Must have experience implementing an Agile or similar process methodology for a design and development team or organization.
• Knowledge of requirement gathering and analysis methodologies like UML, Process Mapping techniques like Flowcharting, IDEF.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle and working knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
o Ensuring that the team understand the requirements well to execute the solutions/develop the process/product is critical.
o Ability to train employees is key to successful process and tool adoption.
• Must have the ability to work independently and move forward with limited scope and direction.
• Manages tool analysis, requirements definition, and implementation.
o Analyzes and understands project scope and objectives
o Analyzes business requirements
o Gathers and organizes requirements into logical order
o Prioritizes them on the basis of business
o Oversees implementation
• Responsible for managing multiple work streams of cross-functional planning and execution process.
• Manage and execute Project Plans.
• Integrates external best practices and benchmarks relating to process and tools into solution definition.
• Must have a technology foundation. Be able to work with both the technology and marketing team members.
• 3+ years' experience with teams using, real-time, high-availability web systems, specifically CMSes that include interfacing with large technology and operations groups.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent skills in documenting operational procedures.
• Excellent skills in mentoring / training a diverse audience on operational processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and associated processes quickly.
• Experience working in a technically diverse and fast passed environment. Experience building skilled, high performance, innovative operational teams.
• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server is desirable.
• A PMP certification is beneficial.
• Ability to travel to Canada and Milwaukee infrequently is required.
