Position Summary:

Provide vital role in providing production support as well as design, develop, and implement payroll processes in PeopleSoft HCM application

 

Essential Job Functions:

Gather payroll related user requirements, analyze, develop technical specifications and design, code, and test. Provide support to PeopleSoft production infrastructures, collaborating with customers, driving processes, analyzing and solving complex technical problems, executing on production change management requirements and providing technical services to solve root cause of break/fix incidents and cases will be essential. Prior analytical and technical experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 or higher and PeopleTools 8.18 or higher is required. Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1 is preferred.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT related field with 5+ years experience in an application development environment; 4+ years experience in PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM; Knowledge of and experience with development principles and methodologies; knowledge of PeopleSoft products and tools that can be applied using various PeopleSoft techniques, methods and processes (e.g. Application Designer, PeopleCode, DataMover, SQR, Component Interfaces); relational database development and design knowledge- strong SQL,SQR skills; working knowledge of HTML, Java, Java Script, XML and web client technologies desirable; strong analytical skills and process improvement orientation; excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to define requirements, assess value and interface effectively with potential customers. Working knowledge of Kronos application is preferred.
