C#.NET Developer – Long Island, NY; contract 6-12 months; Max rate: $60/hr. corp to corp.
Minimum of 7 years software engineering experience required. Strong knowledge of .NET (C#), database programming (MS SQL, ODBC, Oracle), web application development is desired.
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong expertise in object oriented software development.
• Understanding concepts of application design: object-oriented design, design patterns, software architecture
• Strong knowledge of C#, Web Services, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, Distributed Computing, ASP .Net (MVC 2), power shell.
• Knowledge of Networking Concepts such as subnetting, routing basics, DNS/DHCP/AD.
• Sound knowledge of and ability to apply standard software development principles, theories, programming languages, concepts and techniques.
• Ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• A team player, but can also work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
