Direct Client Req: Citrix System Administrator

Solution IT Inc. is looking for an Citrix System Administrator for one of its clients in TN.

 

Job Title   

Citrix System Administrator

Responsibilities

·         Incumbent may serve in the role of project lead, assuming responsibility for oversight of most or all aspects of a project. Undertakes research and/or evaluation projects as assigned, providing formal documentation of findings and conclusions according to established department standards.

·         Support the migration of Windows client applications into the private XenApp cloud.

·         Contributes, as a subject matter expert (SME) to the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards that conform with organizational objectives and IT industry best practices.

Required Skills

·         5 + years experience administering and supporting Citrix XenApp applications

·         3 + years experience administering and supporting Citrix XenDesktop

·         Solid knowledge of Citrix XenApp 5.0 and above

·         Provide problem management of multi-user issues by investigating and diagnosing root causes

·         Provide level three support of production Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments. 

·         ITIL Certification is a plus

·         Knowledge of Citrix EdgeSight is a plus

·         Solid problem isolation and troubleshooting skills.

·         Good written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to work both independently and collaboratively  

·         Excellent customer service skills
