Job Description:-

Scope of Work: Informatica Administrator who will be responsible for providing administration and application support to the GI Projects/Applications at an Enterprise level.

Responsibilities:

·         Administer Security, including Native and LDAP security.

·         Implement capacity management, performance best practice guidelines, and monitoring.

·         Implement backup and restore strategies. Handle production issues, as well supporting the Development team in the non-prod environments.

·         Manage Informatica ETL mapping jobs. Formulated ETL objects and coordinated synchronization of maps. Perform (and automate) object deployments on versioned repositories from DEV to QA to Stage/UAT.

·         Administer Production deployments. Coordinate PowerCenter technical review/approval before on-boarding new projects to shared platform.

·         Basic understanding of ITIL principles and framework. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.


Qualifications:

·         2+ years Informatica administrator experience.

·         Experience in Installing, Configuring, Upgrading, and Patching Informatica Data Integration software on a UNIX platform.

·         Experience with Informartica PowerExchange, PowerCenter Enterprise HA/Grid, pmcmd command line interface, and Security (including Native and LDAP security). Exposure to Informatica Web Services architecture.

·         Experience with IBM DataStage (ETL) a plus.

·         Knowledgeable with Unix and UNIX (shell) Scripting.

·         Knowledgeable with DB2, Oracle, and SQLServer RDBMS, RDBMS Client software, and ODBC drivers.

·         Good understanding in Incident Management, Problem Management and Release management.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to quickly identify situations & communicate and manage the escalation and resolution to the process/situation.

·         Ability to document processes and procedures.
