Job Description:

Client is developing a customer portal to track installation, usage and referrals for Solar Home Customers.  Leads program will interface with 3rd party aps, SF.COM and Ambassador.  Candidate will need to know API's and use SQL to store local data.  Must have 3 -5 years of PHP is backend Angular JS is client facing, JQuery and SQL.  Customer portal and integration base product is completed and they are now building out features.  Current Team of 2 developers, plus PM, BA and testers

 

Design, develop, maintain, enhance and support application programs and processes.  Interface with clients to determine requirements, resolve issues and determine cost estimates.  Provide subject matter expertise to the business client in order to assist with problem solving and as a resource for training and development

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•              Proficient/Advanced knowledge of:

PHP

AngularJS

jQuery

SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL or MSSQL Git

•              Nice to have an understanding of:

                               Python and specifically the Django framework

                               NodeJS

                               MongoDB, memcache

                               C#/Java

•              Understanding of the AWS ecosystem

•              Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery including testing methodologies

•              Understanding of SOLID principles

 

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant business discipline from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience:

•             Application configuration experience and testing experience.

•             Experience working with end users, taking their business problems and translating them into system requirements.

•             Configuration, testing, maintenance, enhancements and or support activities.

•             Evaluating user change requests and obtains approval to make modifications.

•             Participating in project planning sessions with team members to analyze business and technical requirements.

•             Conducting unit testing to ensure application meets specifications.
