SSIS SQL Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ, US

 
Job Description:
- At least 5 years working with advanced business intelligence concepts, communicating them to users in business terms, and applying them toward solutions-oriented challenges.
- Must possess the ability to effectively gather, document, and translate business requirements into business rules and supporting data models.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff, as described above.
- Must possess the ability to perform work in a team environment, direct and act as a resource for less experienced analysts and relay necessary information as appropriate.
- BA/BS degree in related field and/or equivalent experience that includes both analytic thinking and applied management of analytics solutions.
Minimum 5 years configuration and/or development experience with:
• SQL (T-SQL and/or PL/SQL preferred)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Minimum 2 years of experience with:
• Configuration and development of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• MSSQL Server database administration

MCSE: Business Intelligence certification strongly preferred.

Must be familiar with advanced concepts of relational and dimensional database design.
Must have a working knowledge of database administration.
Experience Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services is a plus.
