Job Title :           .NET Application Developer

Location :           Newark, NJ

Duration :           6-12 months contract

Interview:           Phone and face to face 

 

Job Description:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 

Minimum 5-7 years' experience in software development. 

3-5 years' hands on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including C# and ASP.NET. Experience with Java and WebSphere a plus. 

Strong web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and XML/XSL. 

Strong database design and development skills using Microsoft SQL Server. 

Experience in developing n-tier applications for internal and external audiences. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Strong interpersonal skills 

Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment. 

Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting all project commitments. 

Flexible enough to succeed whether assigned large project initiatives or routine maintenance and support tasks. 

Experience with financial services applications preferred. 

Knowledge of mutual funds business a plus.
