Job Title - Data Scientist

Location – Redmond, WA

Duration – 12+ Months 

Job Description:

§  Analysing large datasets, forecasting, mathematical/statistical modelling, economic theory as well as statistical/econometric modelling to understand consumer behaviour. 
§  Good at developing higher level analysis, thinking out-of-the-box, developing customer & business perspective, using data mining/analysis on big data in cross-functional multi-tier environments. 
§  Driving future goals by demonstration/simplification and presenting key insights to high-level management in organizational meetings or developing tools/prototypes.

Skill Set:
§  Data cleaning and munging
§  Data visualization (e.g. ggplot, d3.js, PowerBI) and reporting techniques
§  Statistical modelling, Predictive modelling, Prescriptive modelling, Machine Learning  (e.g. k-nearest neighbours, random forests, ensemble methods, etc.), and Data Mining; 
§  Risk Analysis, Logistic Regression, Boosted Trees, Random Forest, clustering; 
§  Regression, Classification, Multivariate Statistics, Text Mining, Clustering
§  Perceptual Mapping, Conjoint Analysis, Matrix Factorization
§  Experimental Design, GLMM, Semi-parametric models
§  Selection-Bias modelling
§  Big data manipulation, structural data streams, and relational data warehouse;
§  Math (e.g. linear algebra, calculus and probability)
§  Statistics (e.g. hypothesis testing and summary statistics)
§  SQL databases and database querying languages
§  Unstructured data techniques
§  Any one of Big data platforms like Hadoop, Hive & Pig
§  Python, SAS, SQL, R, C#;
§  Cloud tools like Amazon S3, Azure Cloud Analytics
