Job description:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. The QA Analyst works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
• Perform testing on various software, mobile applications and other environments.
• Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
• Actively contribute to designing, building, executing and maintaining automated test suites
Required Skills:
• 5+ years' experience as a QA Analyst
• Experience with Selenium automated testing tools required
• Knowledge of a broad range of software applications and of hardware and networks
• Ability to write basic SQL statements to verify in database results displayed on UI
• Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture
• A creative mindset and ability to approach a problem creatively
• Strong IT skills
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
