Position: Java/ AWS Developer

Location: Philadelphia PA

Duration: Long term contract

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

·         12+ years' experience or equivalent programming in Java.

·         5+ years' experience with highly scalable and high availability services development.

·         Familiarity with cloud computing (S3, SQS, Hadoop, etc)

·         Experience with relational data bases and also NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Couchbase, MongoDb)

·         Experience with managing/running/deploying services to one of cloud providers (AWS/Google Compute/Openstack, etc)

·         Knowledge of source control system, Git.

·         Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, Ansible)

·         Experience with automated testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito, TestNG)

·         Deep understanding of HTTP protocol.

·         Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

·         UNIX background (Solaris/Linux)

·         DevOps experience
