Our client in Deerfield IL is looking for a Senior Java Developer to assist them in defining, formulating, and implementing both new and existing applications. This position requires extensive frontend web development experience. Client is looking for a Java frontend web developer with Portal and Java Persistence API (JPA) experience.
Responsibilities include:
-Develop software programs by analyzing requirements, and preparing specifications
-Actively participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging production roll-outs and documenting. Improve software performance by investigating problems, developing applications that are in line with the technology trends and conform to internal technology standards.
-Leverage Java based Portal products to deliver web based solutions using content management and security technologies.
-Design reusable software components that impact the entire organization
NOTE: An in-person interview will be required prior to hire. Also, candidate must be willing work a 37-1/2 hour week.
