Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6+ Months
Need a Java Developer with 5 yrs of experience in Java.
Job description below
- Client/Server, and Intranet applications
- Translate use case requirements, technical specifications and design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal and external clients
- Prototype functionality for internal and client review
- Implement solutions using Oracle technologies such as WebLogic, Oracle RDBMS 11g, and ADF
- Follow software development methodology and architecture standards
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects; participate in other meetings, such as those for use case creation
- Formally document issues/defects and support issue/defect resolution until closure
- Develop estimates for design and implementation level of effort
- Conduct manual and automated unit testing
- Develop strong understanding of system requirements and application support needs
- Provide application administration and user support
Required Skills:
- At least 4 years of experience with Java/J2EE technologies (EJB, Jscript, Spring, Struts, Ajax, NodeJS, JSP, JSF, JQuery, Angular, Hibernate)
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle technologies (11g, WebLogic
- Strong knowledge of XML and SQL
- Familiarity with Configuration Management methodologies and tools, including SVN
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and web services implementation
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies (WebLogic, JRockit, JDeveloper, ADF, OIM)
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, BAM, ESB)
- Experience with Section 508 compliance
- Agile training or certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master
- Knowledge of EMC Documentum is a plus
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
