One of our Clients is looking for:
Oracle DBA - around 7 years exp.
Location – Bartlesville, OK
Duration – 6 months
Keep the rates at lowest best
Responsibilities:
The Database Administrator may be responsible for:
• Providing Oracle database administration, application tuning, database security and production support
• Installing, upgrading and maintaining Oracle databases
• Planning and executing database backup and recovery
• Providing database tuning for performance and stability
• Managing physical database design and implementation, database security implementation and monitoring
• Using customer change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages
• Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and Enterprise operational requirements
• Partnering with other customer IT organizations to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user.
• This position participates in an on-call rotation with other DBA's to provide 24X7 coverage
Basic Requirements:
• Three years of direct DBA experience working with Oracle
• Five years of direct IT experience providing server support, database support or application programming
• Ability and willingness to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends as well as carry an on call pager for at least one week every 6 to 8 weeks
