Role: Sr Informatica Developer with Strong PL/SQL experience

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Job description:

We are looking for a results-driven Data Analyst with extraordinary attention to detail and excellent technical and communication skills, who will be responsible for:

 

·         Understanding the business problem - "the why" - we are solving in order to recommend the most appropriate Service solution for our customers.

·         Implementing data transformations based on high level discussions and documentation.

·         Data loading and data manipulation with SQL and PL/SQL.

·         Designing, documenting, implementing and testing Informatica Power Center Workflows.

·         Independently performing complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and solution development.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

·         Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.

·         Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.

·         Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, PL/SQL.

·         Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

·         Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, such as iterative development and Agile processes.

·         Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with aggressive project deadlines.

·         Ability to work independently with users and define data mapping requirements.

·         Ability to facilitate meetings effectively with diverse groups including client representatives.

·         Experience in an analytical role working with database solutions.

·         Exhibit strong analytical and decision making skills while extracting the requirements from the subject matter experts and existing legacy applications.

·         Validate converted data and resolve any data issues in a timely manner.

·         Ability and desire to consult with customers.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

·         Experience with ETL.

·         Knowledge of Informatica Power Center and ETL workflows.

·         Understanding of financial and accounting concepts with any floor-planning background a plus.

·         Proven track record of out-of-the-box, innovative thinking and design.

·         Ability to resolve invalid data mappings and troubleshoot technical problems of the database.

·         Perform unit testing at various levels of the ETL and actively be involved in team code reviews.

·         Troubleshoot and evaluate Informatica Workflows designed for conversion activities as well as reoccurring jobs.

·         Perform data manipulations using various Informatica Transformations like Filter, Expression, Lookup, Aggregate, etc…

·         Understand of Informatica debugger to identify bugs in existing mappings by analyzing data flows and evaluating transformations.

·         Design workflows with many sessions with decision, assignment task, event wait, and event raise tasks, and used Informatica scheduler to schedule jobs.

·         Effectively use Informatica parameter files for defining mapping variables, workflow variables, FTP connections and relational connections.
