Job Title: ETL Developer

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 6-12 Months

Required Skills:

ETL Developer

ETL tools such as SSIS, DataStage or Ab Initio:   

Analysis

SQL

Healthcare - nice to have

BIDS, BIML, XML language knowledge preferred – nice to have

2-3 years' experience with BIML, BIDS supporting SSIS package generation – nice to have

Required Experience: 

3+ year's analysis experience 

5+ years ETL design and/or development experience, 

5+ years database experience in SQL environment 

5+ years with ETL tools such as SSIS, DataStage or Ab Initio

Project Scope:

Under general direction, responsible for designing and/or developing processes that translate data from various sources to destinations. Escalate concerns to project management or Team Lead, assist in determining best practices and provide suggestions on how to improve current practices. 

Develops and manages ETL packages and applications. 

Experience developing within an ETL framework that facilitates metadata-driven package execution, connections management, and centralized logging 

Identifies, develops, and documents processes and procedures. 

Ability to quickly understand our processes and procedures, communicates processes and procedures to other groups, and enforces adherence to processes and procedures. (NOTE: Extremely important; we enforce coding standards and cannot afford the time in reiterating our standards)
