Job Description:
1. Translate the data requirements into specifications for development
2. Perform detailed analysis, identifying trends and patterns in data
1. Perform root cause analysis on data anomalies and resolve issues
3. Facilitate review sessions with business users and other team members
4. Direct and review the work of peers. Coach and mentor of junior analysts
5. Provide work estimates
Experience and Qualification:
• Minimum of 4 years IT experience
• 3+ Years of experience in Data Analysis
• 2+ Years of Healthcare experience
• Extremely strong hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Data Quality & Profiling, Data Governance processes
• Knowledge of DBMS physical implementation and ability to combine data from multiple sources for the analysis
• Knowledge of structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships and metadata
• Experience in writing functional/mapping specifications for extracts and reports
• Familiarity with the use cases, business purposes and quality of the data
• Informatica Data Analyst, Data Explorer or other similar tools
• Working knowledge in any of these - DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle
