Job Title : Consultant with Umbraco
Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 6+ Months
*Umbraco is a rare skill set so if you have someone great if not do not worry about it*
Resume review with manager and then interview – can be phone interview if not local
Project is to build a consumer portal. They will have others helping code it. They need an expert Umbraco person to set the pattern to ensure they hookup properly. It's crucial to find someone that has led (from a technical do-er and oversight perspective) at a minimum 1 Umbraco project where they've set the patterns, lead the initiative and trained/mentored other developers. Top skills required
1. Umbraco certified
2. Tech Lead on a new Umbraco site build
3. Experience using source code control
4. Ability to train & give guidance other developers & do the actual code
5. .NET, MVC
They rebuilt their main website in Umbraco this year and now they are on to phase 2 of adding a brand new consumer portal site. The Database Developer will be setting up the data for this while they start to build it out in Umbraco. Their 1st choice is to find someone that is an Umbraco expert that can prototype and set the patterns and train a .NET Developer that we start at the same time & then be available to answer questions later offsite on a part-time basis.
