Duration: 6+ months
Description:
Years of Experience: • 5+ years working with the full Microsoft technology stack (SQL Server, C#, WCF, ASP.NET) and associated IDE / tools (Visual Studio, TFS).
Education Required: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
• 4+ years building high-traffic, public-facing ASP.NET responsive web applications (for desktop and mobile devices).
• 4+ years authoring and modifying HTML / CSS following industry best practices for cross-browser and device support.
• 3+ years architecting / building with ASP.NET MVC 3.0 (or later) and Razor.
• 3+ years building web services and integrating public-facing web pages / components with back-end services.
• 3+ years experience developing solutions with native / plain vanilla JS and JavaScript UI technologies - JQuery, AJAX and JSON (including the consumption of back-end / web service technologies – REST, XML).
• 3+ years experience with API Creation and RESTful services
• Experience Integrating web pages / components and back-end services with Sitecore or other CMS
• Proficient use of Visual Studio / Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Git.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies
• Experience with Mongo DB or other NoSQL technologies
• Experience with continuous delivery model using build and deployment tools such as Team City and Octopus Deploy
• Knowledge and experience using React.js or other MV JS framework
• Experience working on a team in a large development group.
• Working in environments that fully embrace the Agile methodology and DevOps model
• Follows best practices in line with the latest industry standards

Project Description:
• Collaborate as part of a development team to design and enhance large scale, customer-facing web applications developed on the Microsoft technology stack (ASP.NET/C#/MVC, SQL Server) with Sitecore CMS.
• Develop / update web services, MVC controllers and associated libraries / classes and data sources
• Develop unit and automated acceptance tests for all features
• Implement build and deployment processes to support continuous integration model
• Ensure all deliverables comply with standards & best practices for all layers of ASP.NET web applications (client-side, application, back-end service / data stores).
• Fully adopt the agile mythology – actively participate in all ceremonies, review user stories, participate in planning sessions, estimate effort for stories / tasks, etc.
• Analyze and optimize the performance of back-end service calls and browser requests.
• Actively support all activities relating release preparation through deployment including the resolution of any defects in production.
• Participate in team code reviews as part of an agile scrum sprint team
