SCOPE OF SERVICES:
- Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing appropriate hardware, database and programming technology.
- Refine data and format final products.
- Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and code changes.
- Test and develop programming modifications.
- Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
- Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs, e.g., whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
- Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users.
- Confer with users to gain an understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
- Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
- Write and maintain programming documentation.
- Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years of programming experience in ASP.NET (3.5, 4.6), C#, VB.NET, HTML5/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery MVC and Entity Framework.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in MS SQL and programming of stored procedures
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering and information technology.
- Experience using mobile technologies a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
- Experience in building and specifying mission critical business applications.
- Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control and build management a plus.
- Ability to apply object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience providing user support or code development support in a high-performance computing environment.
- Ability to design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications as required by projects. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
- Ability to work with business partners, business analysts and other software development teams to define system scope and objectives.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and be willing to research new topics in system administration.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and aptitude for cross group collaboration.
