Position: Salesforce Developer

Key Duties, Responsibilities & Activities
Configuration & Support of Salesforce
• Day-to-day configuration, training, support, maintenance and improvement of the Salesforce platform.
• Review and understand general organization drivers and context for Cargo's Sales and service cloud implementations and other development projects ; assist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce features to business processes.
• Oversee the feature request/support backlog and work with the stakeholders and implementation partner execute on it.
• Evangelize and drive user adoption across the organization to ensure a successful rollout
• Implement enhancements and roll out new features.
• Execute solution design activities such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design and rule logic definition in the context of the Salesforce application
• Create training materials, standards and user documentation, and maintain such documentation as business needs evolve
• Manage change sets between development sandboxes and production Salesforce environment
• Plan and implement technical solutions (e.g., APEX, triggers, and object relations).
Provide Consultation & Advice on Salesforce
• Consult with all stakeholders at United Cargo
• Foster collaborative and productive relationships with Salesforce contacts at Chicago salesforce user groups, Salesforce AE and Salesforce Success manager in order to share learnings and experience
• Identify opportunities to standardize and adopt approaches to managing Salesforce as a shared United-wide asset in order to have increased pricing leverage, greater data visibility and sharing, improved support efficiency and reduced complexity for all United business units
