Position:          Senior Network Security Engineer

Location:        Brooklyn, NY

Duration:        6+ Months

Rate:               Open

 

Responsibilities:

·         Liaising with global colleagues on the maintenance and development of new designs and standards

·         Providing an escalation path for operations and deployment staff to resolve problems

·         Work with project teams to design secure network connectivity

·         Evaluate and certify new technologies or new versions of existing products

·         Integrate new products into the infrastructure

·         Act as escalation point to vendor to resolve problems

·         Write various technical documentation including design doc, test doc, and run book

 

Skills Required

·         Firewalls, DMZ designs, IPsec, proxies, RADIUS

·         Juniper firewalls and firewall management platform

·         Network attack and penetration methods and defenses

·         TCP/IP protocol including packet analysis

·         Layers 2-3 networking topologies/design

·         Experience in using Unix

 

Skills Desired:

·         Ability to write scripts using PERL

·         Application development background

·         Relevant industry certifications
