HOUSTON, TEXAS candidates AND individuals that have Energy/Gas industry experience are highly preferred by this Hiring Manager and Lead - so they will be first preference on interviews - Interviews will begin the week of the 15th and would like someone to start by Monday the 22nd.


The Real-time Business Applications area within Spectra Energy IT is looking for one consultant / programmer to continue the support and development of their in-house developed applications which support the operation of Spectra Energy Gas Measurement, Capacity Management & Scheduling.

The candidate should possess strong communications skills and be willing to work directly with team members and internal customer groups

The candidate must also be willing to enter the group’s on-call rotation to address application problems which arise after hours.

SKILLS: Microsoft .NET (3.5) Development platform – C#, ASP .NET, Silverlight, WCF, Web Services, Bing Maps, XML, SQL Server
