Must have:-
At least 4 years of experience in web services testing with SOAP or
REST protocol using tools like SOAP UI or JUnit or JMeter.
At least 3 years of experience in writing SQL queries with Oracle
database using tools like SQL Developer.
Sound understanding of SOA architecture.
Good written communication and ability to write test cases of high
quality.
Quick learner of new tools and concepts is must for this position as
the architecture is built from scratch and there is lot of third party
tools involved that increases the overall complexity.
Willingness to work long hours. Initial few months will require extra
efforts from the resource to ramp up, as project timelines are
aggressive.
Preferred/Nice to have:-
Some knowledge of load testing will be required, as client requires
person to work on both aspects functional and load testing of web
services.
Experience working with open source tools like "fitnesse" for
functional testing of web services will be highly beneficial.
Dedicated experience of testing WebServices with JUnit or JMeter will
be nice.
