Job Title  : Java Developer

Location  : Western VA

Duration  :  6 Months Contract

Rate : $30/hr on C2C

 

Are you a coding expert? A Technical Consultant provides technical support for design, engineering, programming and problem solving for technology projects. This professional participates in the design and drives the completion of project deliverables, as well as problem solves with client and technology experts independently in preparation for project management.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide advanced-level development skills to client engagements

Provide strong testing, debugging, and documentation skills

Independently manage individual time and tasks

Demonstrate proficiency with at least one development tool / technology

Independently manage mid-sized development team to work on individual modules

Understand and manage SDLC for development projects

Manage on-shore and or offshore team members task activities and assignments

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience

Certifications, Licenses a plus

Demonstrate experience utilizing programming languages such as JAVA, SQL,

Software package expertise a plus ( IBM Websphere , BEA Weblogic, Oracle)

One to four years in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design

Knowledge of multiple technology platforms/languages: J2EE /JEE, JSP, Websphere, Weblogic, HTML, DHTML, XML, SOAP, JavaScript, MVC patterns, JavaScript, Java, PL/SQL, RDBMS, net beans, glass fish

Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without a great deal of guidance
