Job Title: Oracle Data Architect

 

Work Location: ME (Telephone hire)

Duration: 6 +months

Rate: $DOE/hr C2C

2 Positions.

Job Description:

The focus of this position is in aiding current Senior Data Architects on multiple ongoing projects.  Responsibilities will include development of data conversion programs in support of physical design changes, and SDLC support from Designs through Implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Systems Development Lifecycle(SDLC) Process:

• Supporting phases of the current SDLC from Development through Deployment.
• Supporting the current Data Architects in testing and migrations up through Deployment.
• Must be able to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping the Data Architects informed of project related issues.

Development:

• Development of data conversion modules as required supporting physical database model changes.
• Responsible for all phases of testing through QA.
• Responsible for all code migrations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of 3 years PL/SQL Development support in both OLTP and Data Warehouse/Mart environments.
• Solid understanding of relational database fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of PL/SQL under Oracle 10g/11g.
