Need HP uCMDB Consultant

Location: Portland, OR

Length: 2-3 months w/option for additional
time

Overview:

Consultant will be responsible for providing implementation consulting for
HP BTO Configuration Management products and tools, primarily HP Universal
CMDB and Discovery & Dependency Mapping.

Requirements

1. Must have 2-4yrs of UCMDB and Discovery & Dependency Mapping
implementation experience

2. Must have the ability to demonstrate the features and benefits of
UCMDB and DDM including Gold Master Reports, Change Reports, Impact
Analysis, etc

a. Thorough understanding of the OSI Model particularly Layers 2 * 7

3. Must have prior exp conducting analysis, design, programming,
implementation, technical documentation, testing, and maintenance for HP
UCMDB, DDM products and toolsets

4. Responsible for analysis, design, programming, implementation,
technical documentation, testing, and maintenance for HP UCMDB and HP DDM

5. Assess objectives for the assigned project phases and recommend
technical strategies and tactics to achieve business needs.

6. Identify and resolve technical problems and issues

7. Participate in technical design meetings with customers and other
partners

8. Provide leadership to other teams when it comes to any upgrades or
maintenance issues

9. Ability to serve as System Administrator by creating/deleting user
ids, assignment groups, etc.

10. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.

11. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator

12. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this
project
