Role: Telecom Network Engineer (Technical Analyst)
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration: 3 months
Rate: $Open/hr on C2C

Industry: Public Sector-State Government
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Identify data sources/tools across the infrastructure (EMS/OSS/Probes/etc.) for counters and KPIs needed for end to end performance management of 2.5/3G network.
Map 3GPP-specific counters/KPIs in Service Model to vendor-specific counters/KPIs.
Work with the selected service operations platform vendor to identify additional counters/KPIs, if needed Identify normalization requirements for vendor-specific counters so that aggregation rules can be defined for each KPI or KQI that needs to be computed.
Understand capabilities of probes and EMS/OSS in selected market for a functional proof of concept Identification of session-specific transaction data to be gathered from passive probes & EMS/OSS for implementation of selected use cases.
Provide technical direction and expertise when encountered with network topology / protocol questions.
Support documentation of technical requirements.
Support refinement of Service Models in collaboration with selected platform vendor.
Escalate requirements gaps / issues as needed to program management
Telecom experience must.
