Position   : Core Java Developer
Location  : Stamford, CT
Duration  : 6 + Months

 

VERY VERY HOT OPPORTUNITY.
Interview process is first a phone then a face to face.
 
Need for a Java developer, he has made it clear that he does not want a web framework guy, he wants a core java guy, a server-side java developer.
Someone with 3-5 years experience is all he needs.
It is not a complicated project, the specifications are very detailed.
The candidate does not have to have any financial or business experience or knowledge (of course its nice to have but not necessary).
 
Required Skills:
Core Java server side development (4 years) - (this is exclusive of web technologies such as JSP, struts, etc....not interested in web framework people)
Multithreaded programming (2 years)
NIO (2 years)
XML (4 years)
Eclipse IDE (4 years)
Familiar with code optimization and performance tuning (2 years)
Spring Framework (2 years), nice to have but not a deal breaker
Ant (4 years)
Linux/Unix shell scripting (2 years)
 
Preferred:
Mathematics background
Understanding of derivatives, nice to have but not essential.
