Hi,

My client in the bay area is looking for an Oracle Data Warehouse DBA

Here is the requirement:

Support of Oracle on Linux in our large 24X7 production environment
Demonstrated operational experience supporting large production
environment
Good understanding of dimensional modelling.
Help developers with indexing strategy in both OLAP and OLTP
environments.
Monitor, trouble shoot database and carry out performance tuning
Perform Oracle installation, configuration, patching, maintenance and
upgrades
Perform backup and recovery
Experience with PLSQL programming and UNIX shell scripts.
Hands-on experience in database monitoring, troubleshooting,
performance tuning
Perform tasks during scheduled maintenance windows
Experience with Dataguard is a plus
Working knowledge of HAMCP(fault tolerance) is a plus

Location: San Ramon
Length: 6-12 months
