Position: Oracle Database Administrator-L3

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Connecticut...

Job Description/Skills Required:

DBA Experience Level: 6 + Yrs Mandatory: 

- SAP, Siebel Production Database Support Experience 

- RAC (must have) - Data guard (must have) 

- RMAN(Must have) - Shell Scripting(Must have) 

- Oracle Replication(Nice to have) 

- BR Tools( Nice to have) 

- Should be willing to work in 24*7 Environment 

- Knowledge of Oracle 9i,10g,11i (must have) Technical

 

Skills Required:

 

- Familiarity with the Windows NT family of operating systems. Specifically, NT4, 2000, and 2003 server. 

- Familiarity with the UNIX family of operating systems Specifically, HP, AIX, Linux servers - Shell scripting, Perl scripting 

- Oracle skills: RMAN, export/import, hot backups, RAC, materialized view replication, standbys, Data guard/Data broker, versions 9i and 10g, High availability(RAC), clustering 

- high-level performance tuning-SQL, PL/SQL - Experience in Oracle11i. 

- Oracle certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Certified Master (OCM) 

- Oracle DBA experience in SAP and Siebel applications - BR Tools 

- Database Project planning experience

 

Technical Environment includes:

 

- Oracle (RAC, Data guard) 

- MS SQL Server 

- MySql 

- DB2 

- Sybase 

- Unify
