Title: Project Manager/Sr. BA

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 6-12 Months contract

This position will be working under the direction of a business transformation Program Manager.

 

At least 2 years of hands-on Project Management experience demonstrating the following skills:

Skills	Years of experience	Rate yourselves on a scale of 1-5 is desired (1=weak, 3= average, 5=expert)
Engage internal business clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into delivery plans.
Establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members.
Facilitate business requirements gathering and documentation.
Develop and maintain MS Project project schedules.
Follow established project management practices including management of scope, requirements, issues and risks.
Track project costs and benefits.
Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule.
Ensure that all required project deliverables are created and kept up to date.
Prepare documentation for governance gate approvals.
Analytical skills to gather data and information consolidate and draw conclusions.
Able to interpret intangible concepts and ideas into logical, detailed plans.
The focus will be in business process improvement projects and with small technical components.
VISIO (Advanced) - This is a must
MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Take notes/arrange meetings/basic logistics

 

Prefer understanding of P&C Insurance, especially working with Independent Agent and MGA relationships
