Job Title : Release Engineer .
Location : San Diego, CA .
Duration : 6 Months Contract.
IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS !!!
SURESHOT PLACEMENT!!!
Required Skills :
Manage and coordinate Application and Infrastructure changes through QA and into production.
Deploy changes to the QA environment.
Ensure introduced changes to production do not impact system stability for our Advisors and customers.
Involved in all projects that move to production and work closely with the Data Center, Development,
Quality Assurance and Needs Management teams to ensure cross communication and confirmed approval of
all production changes.
Responsible for oversight on firm critical releases.
Ensure compliancy of all audit processes and related documentation.
Manage the installation order into each environment.
Draft, review and coordinate the release plan for each release activity and provide oversight to other Release Engineers.
Provide technical direction to the release engineer when requested.
Communicate with each group to ensure information regarding a change to Production or QA is understood by the
business, as well as the team deploying the changes.
Communicate directly with the responsible development lead and Data Center Stability staff taking the hand off to
support the changes made to production.
Able to adopt the release management processes which involve multiple moving components with the ability to
identify the order in which the changes are to be implemented and assess whether they can be done in parallel or serially.
Candidate must be able to successfully multi task and be extremely detail oriented to ensure the release plan is
created correctly and executed as designed
