Position:QA Tester /SDET Analyst
Location : San Diego, CA
Duration : 9 Month Contract

Requirements:
• Expert understanding of the Microsoft technology stack from a test perspective, including .NET, SQL, SSIS, IIS, WCF, and WPF. Other technologies include XML
• Experience implementing an Automation Framework that incorporates two or more of the above Microsoft technologies.
• Demonstrable practice of working tactically but acting strategically for the purposes of not only delivering on specific projects, but contributing to the advancement of overarching divisional technology goals.
• Knowledge of coding tests, executing tests, and collecting test results in Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Understanding of agile practices and the role that QA plays in them.
• Proficiency developing test harnesses for newly implemented technologies on fast moving application development projects.
• Ability to code test harnesses that unequivocally demonstrate a technology's support of business requirements.
• Experience working with developers to provide feedback on the technical viability of their code from a functional and non-functional requirements perspective.
• Experience creating comprehensive data driven test frameworks that interact with a variety of application input methods.
• Experience collaborating with QA analysts on designing test methods that exercise functional requirements through the non-UI layers of the application.
• Pluses include experience with VSTS 2010, Microsoft Test Manager, Test Controllers, Test Agents, and testing load balance configurations.
Duties:
• Write C# code to read data from SQL into test objects targeting various input methods.
• Develop C# test harnesses for functional tests of web methods, services, and other application components.
• Code performance tests in C# for various application and infrastructure components.
• Work with QA Analysts to design automated functional regression and smoke tests.
• Support the Continuous Integration build process by extending developer unit tests into a more comprehensive suite.
• Support the deployment process through automated functional and performance testing as builds are deployed to QA, UAT, and Prod environments.
• Troubleshoot environmental issues and application configuration issues and provide feedback to developers, CM, and IT.
