Location: Toledo, MI
Duration: 6+months

Rate: $45/Hr C2C

 

Position details: This position will analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems incorporating .NET and Oracle Databases.  The candidate will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives in a timely matter.  The Company's primary goal is to provide better and more cutting edge services to our customers and partners.  
Job technical requirements .NET development Database Interaction and administration Functional and technical specification writing Mentoring other team members Project Management. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow all phases of the project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post-production support/maintenance for assigned projects. Create functional and technical specifications for assigned projects. Review project tasks and provide accurate estimates for completion timelines. Conduct unit testing, and coordinate integration testing with key users within assigned projects. Adhere to established standards and best practices to delivery stable, reliable and highly available solutions. Participate in the development of technical design and architecture for development projects. Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and all business partners. Research and debug potential system issues. Update, edit, and compile technical documentation including: unit testing, integration, acceptance test plans, and support documentation. Communicate status of project tasks to senior team members and management as required. Develop systems with .NET to meet technical specifications.  
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with .NET Team Foundation Server. Able to work with business analysts to translate functional design into technical specifications. Solid oral and written communication skills. Ability to recognize and minimize design dependency issues between projects and create scalable solutions. Demonstrate advanced conceptual reasoning skills and discretionary judgment along with an understanding of business area policies and processes. Solid project management skills and conflict resolution experience. Able to work extended or non-standard hours to support business needs and project deadlines as needed.  
 

Courses or certificates in VB .NET skills. Experience training others in a formal setting. Experience auditing specifications and the quality of other's code development.
