Need Infrastructure Technical Architect

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 5 months

Rate: $45 max

 Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years UNIX Experience (AUX, Solaris preferred)

• Minimum 3 years VMWare experience

• Minimum 3 years experience working with COTS products

• Minimum 3 years working with State of North Carolina technical architecture projects (specifically working with the Office of Information Technology Services technical offerings such as hosting and managed platforms)

• Minimum 3 years implementing technical infrastructure components including backup and recovery, monitoring , performance testing and tuning, and overall knowledge of datacenter operations.

• Minimum 3 years experience of technical supervisory experience

Analyze and design technical architecture
• Build and test technical architecture
• Coordinate technical configuration changes and modifications amongst teams
• Create design documentation (installation and configuration files, trouble shooting guides)
• Stress test the NC FAST solution
• Define monitoring solution for the NC FAST solution
• Develop disaster recovery approach for NC FAST solution
