Position: Oracle DBA
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:-
System DBA
• RMAN backup experience (backup/recovery)
• Patching (both version upgrades like 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 and quarterly critical patch updates with OPatch)
• Experience with RAC and ASM
• Experience with either DBMS_JOB or DBMS_SCHEDULER
• Good troubleshooting skills

Application DBA
• Export and import of schemas
• Assist developers by identifying expensive queries and provide tuning help
• User creation, roles, grants, profiles, etc.
• PL/SQL programming skills (not guru level, but at least some experience)

Other Skills
• Some O/S system administration (shell scripting)
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (not guru level, but at least some experience
