Title                 :            OpenDeploy Specialist

Location         :            Atlanta, GA

Duration        :            6 month contract

EAD, GreenCard and US Citizens

 

 

This individual will be responsible for deploying VB.Net applications onto Windows Servers utilizing an OpenDeploy application; any type of OpenDeploy experience will be applicable.  

The manager would like to schedule phone interviews this week and make a hiring decision before the end of next week.

 

Must have skills

OpenDeploy Experience – 2/3 years

Understands multiple versions

MS Server Experience 3-5 years

UNIX, AIX, LINUX all are a plus

Troubleshooting capability (must have)

XML experience

Potential knowledge of FrontPage

VB experience and use

4-6 years IT experience

 

Nice to have skills

ITIL Foundations Certification or experience (nice to have)

Understanding of the Change Control Process

Governance and Application Life Cycle

Would lead a consolidation effort to bring all versions to same level of currency

A people person that has collaboration skills

Can work with and present themselves well to senior managers

 

A Bachelors Degree is preferred for this position, however candidates with the correct amount of experience will be considered.

Collaboration and upgrade activities. Coding skills needed along with VB, Perl etc.
