POS: Web Back End Developer

Location:  Dulles, VA 20166

Duration:  12 months +

 

REQUIRED SKILLS (ALL):

• BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 5 Years' experience developing large-scale DB backed WebApps using OpenSource Tools
• 5 Years' experience (expertise) developing in Java or other Obj-Oriented Language
• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
• 5 Years' experience with Linux, MySQL, SOLR, Tomcat, Hadoop, PhP
• 5 Years' experience with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Subversion, Maven, Firebug
• Ability to write efficient SQL and good general DB design skills.
• Proficiency with J2EE Architecture and Frameworks
• 5 Years' experience with Web Services Design (SOAP and REST) both Client and Server.
• Experience developing in standards based env using version control and IDEs
• Experience using SVN/CVS, Eclipse or NetBeans Required
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Proficiency in Front End Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
