QA Test Lead – 3 openings

Cupertino, CA.

Contract/CTH/Full Time.

 

We are looking for a Senior Test/QA lead for a large sized Java/J2eebased producttesting. Ideal candidates will have ten years of professional software testing experience on Java/J2ee products in a Linux environment. The person should have fair knowledge about Java programming and good experience on Unix shell scripting.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning, test strategy planning, environment setup and execution.
• Participate in design and requirements discussions with business teams and development teams.
• Collecting and reporting progress and status.
• Be the mentor for team and go-to person for technical needs.
• Guide, lead and collaborate with different teams to understandfunctionalities and design the test cases.

Qualifications:

• 8+  years of professional software testing experience onweb based applications in a Linux environment
• Great communication skills.
• Good knowledge of databases and database schema.
• Experience on testing applications on mobile devices.
• Good technical skills on testing tools
• Experience on Apache tomcat, JBoss, XML, MySQL.
• Skills on PL/SQL, Maven, and Subversion desired.
• Exposure to iOS, Objective C, Oracle is a plus.
• Understanding of distributed systems, performance and caching.
• Good defect identification skills.
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills to identify root causes of defects.
