Job Title: Microstrategy Tech Lead /Architect

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Detroit, MI

 

Job Description:

 

Consultant need to be Hands on Architect level person... Job description is listed below. Any experience with Pharmaceutical would be better.

 

Project Overview:

·         Project is to create a best in class Dashboard for Med-D information.

·         Potential 25% travel domestically.

Responsibilities: 

·         Very familiar with Microstrategy version, 8.2 and 9, including Desktop, I-Server, Project Merge, Narrowcast Server, and Web-Server.

·         Must be able to architect and re-architect existing MS models.

·         Very experienced with OLAP ad-hoc reports using Microstrategy Desktop.

·         Extremely familiar with Microstrategy DSS objects.

·         Experience with Microstrategy Administration:  Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting on-going management and support.

·         Very experienced with maintain and support Microstrategy reports to facilitate automatic scheduled processing using Microstrategy Narrowcast.

·         Excellent analytical skills to translate business requirements into system design.

·         Familiar with T-SQL development:  Creating scripts and Optimizing Scripts.

·         Familiar with all aspects of Data Definition scripts and Data Manipulation scripts.

·         Work with developers on implementation of reports.

·         Responsible to following customer's project life cycle/best practices.

Qualifications Mandatory:

·         5 year's experience with MicroStrategy.

·         5 year's experience with SQL.

·         5 year's experience wtih Best Practices and SDLC.

Qualifications Desired:

·         2 year's experience with Teradata is preferred but not required.

·         2 year's experience with UML.

·         2 year's experience with Data Modeling.

·         4 year's experience with DBMS.
