Sr Java Developer

6+ month

King of Prussia, PA

EAD, GC Citizens only

 

 

Project Information:

Proprietary framework for MVC, persistence, custom components and templates

Components and templates convert into JSP and JSTL

 

Needs developers who understands how data is presented

Prefer middle tier and JSP experience

 

Must Have: Core Java

 

Strong Plus: JSP, JSTL, Servlets, HTML/CSS

 

Soft Skills Needed:

Good communication with technical team

 

Development Methodology:

Mostly waterfall with semi-agile iterations

 

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: 
'BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture.
'5+ years programming experience. Particular expertise in Core Java, JSP and J2EE technologies.
'Coding experience using Web-presentation technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), SQL scripting, and Unix scripting.
'Experience in re-factoring existing systems.
'Experience with automated build utilities and continuous integration environments.
'Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.
'Strong oral and written communication skills. 


Desirable Requirements:
'Experience in e-commerce application development.
'Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.
'Experience with Oracle 10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.
